Quality System for special processes is based on 3 foundations such as:
- Nadcap Accreditations for 4 technologies
- AS9100(JIS-Q-9100) Quality Management System
- Special process specification approved by individual customers.
Asahi Kinzoku Kogyo is proactive to Nadcap for the following 3 reasons:
- A total sale of manufacturing Aerospace parts is 95%.
- Asahi owns more than 70% of special process out of total process.
- Asahi works for 6 Nadcap subscribing primes

Asahi Kinzoku Kogyo Inc. obtained "ISO9002" accreditation, the international standard for quality assurance, in 1999 (Gifu Anpachi Plant). In 2003, Asahi expanded the scope of ISO accreditation to the entire company, and obtained "ISO9001: 2000" certification. Furthermore, Asahi obtained certification of "AS9100 (JIS-Q-9100)" Quality Management System in 2004. |
